Welcome to the Larned Veterinary Clinic
CANINE
Spaying and Neutering your pet...
We recommend that you have all of your pets spayed or
neutered unless you plan to use them for breeding
purposes. By spaying your female dog before the first
heat cycle you greatly reduce the chance of mammary
gland tumors. Dogs can be spayed or neutered after 5
months of age.

We  provide AVID Microchip Installation and
Scanning! Microchips are an excellent way to
permanently identify a pet. Whether in Larned or
nationwide, a participating clinic, shelter, or pound
can scan your pet and be able to help get them
back home.  Microchips are an affordable and
reliable form of insurance every pet owner should
consider.  Talk with a Larned Veterinary Clinic staff
member for more information.
The best prevention of pet illness is an annual
examination for your pets.  Many costly and life
threatening situations can be avoided by
having your pet examined. Running a
comprehensive blood screen and CBC can
identify disease processes like diabetes, liver
and kidney disease.  When caught early, these
diseases can often be managed more
effectively.

"If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in
your pocket and then give him only two of them." – Phil Pastoret
Brody sleeps in the car
after what could only have
been an exhausting day.
Hooper poses just long
enough for this picture to
be taken. Shortly after,
we'd bet he was back to
playing with the stick at
his feet.
This puppy takes a nap
with what we're sure is his
favorite toy. Who wouldn't
like a toy cow?
